Last Chance Holiday Craft Show Dec. 10, 2011 Photos

 It was a clear, crisp Saturday. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee met you at the door.  The crowds were steady but not overwhelming.  Sparkly gold swags and rope lighting created an enchanted effect.   Shoppers commented on the variety of offerings and everyone appreciated the ample street parking.  Young and old alike enjoyed creating candy cane mice, beaded wire wreaths, reindeer paper bags or any creation of their choosing in the kids' craft area on the stage.  Hope to see everyone again next year.

MSP Polar Bear Plunge is looking for new and crafty vendors to come out to the event which is taking place on Saturday, January 28th, 2012. Vendors are located in a large heater festival tent. In case you aren’t familiar with the Polar Bear Plunge, it is a fundraiser where participants plunge into the Chesapeake Bay to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland! Special Olympics Maryland is the state’s largest year-round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.  In addition to plunging into the bay it is also a huge winter festival which attracts over 30,000 participants and spectators and over 60 local vendors, as well as entertainment – last year entertainment included DJ Pauly D from the Jersey shore, appearances by Joe Flacco, and are in the midst of planning new and exciting things for this year! Contact the Vendor Liaison, Jackie Isphording for more information. Jisphording@somd.org or 410-242-1515 x 113.
